DATUK RINGO LOW KIM LENG is an honours graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) Law in 1983 and was admitted to the English Bar as a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 1984. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in June 1985. He has more than 35 years of experience in civil litigation with particular expertise on arbitrations, contracts, corporate, commercial and land disputes, intellectual property, labour, matrimonial and probate matters, with substantial exposure at both the High Court and Industrial Court. As a counsel regularly retained by lawyers, he has consistently appeared before the Appellate Courts, consisting of the Court of Appeal and Federal Court.
He has also handled non-contentious matters such as drafting of agreements for sale and purchase of property, shares, off shore loans and cross border transactions for clients, both locally and internationally. He was instrumental in the successful completion of Corporate Restructuring exercises of a number of public listed companies.
He is often consulted by lawyers and institutional clients and had conducted in house seminars and training for clients on various topics of law and procedure.
He is a registered trade mark agent with the authority to submit application for registration of trade marks in Malaysia.
As an exemplary lawyer with good repute, he has been appointed a Notary Public by the Attorney General of Malaysia.
